FASHION SHOW FEATURING LOCAL SUSTAINABLE DESIGNERS:
Featuring 15 designers who use sustainable practices, a fashion show will take place on Sunday, September 29th, at 7PM at Collins Park, outside of the Bass Museum, accompanied by live music. The runway will include both iconic Miami sculptures, Ugo Rodinone’s neon Miami Mountain and the exquisite 1962 Albert Vrana Rotunda.
Each designer will showcase 9 complete looks in collaboration with other local shoe and accessory designers. The event will benefit a local charity, and is free to the public.
Miami On Sight is a community minded fashion show, celebrating the city and its people through showcasing emerging local designers in unique iconic Miami locations. Miami On Sight is a free recurring public event, highlighting the local Miami fashion scene amongst the backdrop of Miami’s most beautiful and exemplary locations.
Kim Yantis and Lucinda Linderman expand on their collaborative work “Suiting-Up for the Future” with 5 new works in the collection that will be featured on the runway. The individual Suits and wearable sculptures will be for sale during the event.

The event is free, but is fundraising for Habitat for Humanity, people can buy VIP tickets to have a front row seat.

AFTER PARTY
The after party is at the Plymouth Hotel and will directly follow the show and go until midnight. If you would like dinner at the after party we have hooked up with the Plymouth to offer their menu for Spice, and they are taking reservations for this prixe fix dinner menu.
